Offline | JCW kit arrives at dealers just at the col crawford dealer in Brookvale this morning and noticed they had a brand new MCS with the JCW kit on it.. this car looked like it just came off the ship... it still needed the 'mini' logos to be attatched to the wheels.. it had the badging on the front and back and not on the side suprisingly and it had the exhaust aswell which looked really good.. i dont know the situation on the arrival etc of this kit.. but that was the first ive ever seen! ![]() benno |

| MINI2 Regular | BMW/MINI had also supplied a JCW for the Sydney The Italian Job screening last week. All us MINI2 people were crowding around the thing, looking for what you got for your cool 9.6 grand. Lots of stickers. Etched exhaust. In speaking to Catriona, she stated that BMW had loaned her a JCW to test drive. I offered her my MCS, but was declined. |

Offline | The is NO side badging for the JCW kit ... there is only external badging for the front grill and the hatch ... anybody who thinks otherwise I can send them the JCW installation pdf (this was a point of contention at the Italian Job opening night )Looks like I will be placing a call to the dealership tomorrow to see what the heck the story is on my kit ![]() |

Offline | oh thats interesting. i thought there was side badging.. the badges aren't very noticable i have to say though. i eventually found out that they were the first JCW kits they had fitted to MCS ever.. they had two of them there. yeah give them a call.. i managed to sneak a peak of a DS MCS with the bumper removed while they were fiddling with the s/charger.. looks like an awesome kit! which i had the 9600 to blow though! benno |

Offline | Can´t wait to get back to Sydney and get the thing put on SWORKS ![]() Also looking forward to seeing how it compares to Robbos Hartge beast. By the way, Melody and I dropped into JCW Garages a couple of weeks ago down in West Sussex... We got chatting to the granddaughter of John Cooper who works there and she let us go for a fang in her Works car.. Although i couldn´´t really get a good guage on how much more performance it had (due to the fact that i am lumbering around in a Renault Megane) it was good to back in a Cooper S for at least 10 minutes ![]() ..It was also 38 degrees and i had myself, two passengers and the Air Conditioning on so the contributing factors weren´´t optimum for the test drive.. Got myself a cap though ![]() The original SWORKS |

Offline | yeah that will be a tough line up boo... from what ive heard the JCW is the ''autobarn stormer" whilst the hartge has more of a "street racer" feel ive seen TRELOS hartge go hard from our last drive and it looked like a real machine. i havn't driven one but the wheel spin factor looks pretty intense. maybe its too much power for the MCS.. the JCW has less power but maybe thats a good thing anyway, cant wait to see them on the road! benno |

Offline | Robbo and i will both have our suspension done and two different kits added, should be interesting to have a drive of both to see what the difference is. The original SWORKS |
