Tofu,

Pretty obvious most of us were out there for our first sprint run hey! Not hard to tell we were running street tyres either - 8 screaching MINIs make a hell of a racket amongst all the other cars wearing track tyres. But hell, didn't we have some fun.

Next time definitely drop on over an say g'day.

Not as good as CJAYs but hope you enjoys these anyway.
Note the Pink Hyundai that nearly beat Ken in his Works. I'm suprised it even made it to the gate, it sounded like an old tractor.

Thanks Brett! Starting at the back of the grid, I din't even know the Excel existed until I almost ran him over coming out of that corner, I was too busy playing games at the back of the pack with the XU1, GTV6 and turbo 300ZX, and other unpredictable buggers.

Second run was better - 8 MINIs on the track at the same time. Now that was fun!!

Congrats on the 9 points at QR. All you have to do now is get Peter's S out of Class A1 and get your 17s on and you'll be heading up the ladder.

BTW, I guess they were the secondhand 17s I just saw at Bris BMW parts with the big gouge in one. Only kidding, they've been there for a while. How much did you end up paying?

Got them down to $1750 (new ones and New tyres). not to bad considering that I have seen 2nd hand ones sell for $1200 with used rubber, so by the time you get new tyres you end up paying more for them .
I'll have to get S Badging. Or some John Cooper Works badges. won't improve the performance but hey it will look as fast when parked isn't that all the 4cyl rice rocketeesr worry about

The 2nd hand set have had a $1200 for sale sign on them for about a month, but this afternoon they had a sold sign on them. What size and brand of tyre are you getting with the new wheels?

Ok ... I will type slowly The greater the number of points, the quicker you went in your class.

20 Points - Quickest
17 Points - Next
15 Points - Next
12 Points - Next
10 Points - Next
9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, next, next, next etc.
1 Point - For turning up and not bending your car

Grab the excel file and sort by the date column, then by class, then by last name, that helps make more sense Next mission ..... to move the Clio out of the way Probably a bigger job then first thought

Have your ordered an S bonnet for your Cooper yet? We may have to redesign the bull bar for better air flow...

I'm going to swap my bonnet with Ken because he has Cooper badges on his Cooper S it'll look more like a Cooper then. I think it will be a logical swap. Even if Ken doesn't know about it yet

Then I'll have to get a water to air intercooler.

I DON'T THINK SO BRETT

Nobody sees the bonnet scoop on the Black Betty anyway. The only thing still missing are the chrome bumper strips on the front. They don't fit because of the S's front foggies.

NO BRETT, YOU CAN'T HAVE THE BUMPER AND FOGGIES EITHER

Rob, what are we going to do about Peter's S cheating down there amongst A1 Class with Brett. He's getting the jump on us.

BTW, how does the point system work? Total time, improved time, fastest lap, number of places gained ? Any idea ?

I think he may have confused the time keeper with No Supercharger one month, then One Supercharger next month

I forgot, Peter's the one that upgraded from Cooper to S. Right? That explains it. I vote to let him stay in A1 then, at least he can't steal points from us.

Out of interest , as I managed to scrape in with 4 points with a lap time of 1:09.32. What was the differnce in lap times for the 4 points and say 8 or 10 points - if you do not mind saying?
