MINI Drive Victoria - Sunday 14th September

Drive Announced for Sunday 14th September.

In conjunction with the groovy guys at Doncaster MINI Garage, we invite all MINI owners on a drive to the North-East of Melbourne.

We will meet at Doncaster MINI Garage in Doncaster Road ready to leave at 8:00am.

Breakfast will be about an hour away, and then we have a great drive into the hills.

It is imperative that you book, identifying exact numbers, as we need to reserve breakfast and lunch spots. If you want to meet us at the breakfast spot instead of Doncaster, please advise that as well.

As guests of honour we will have Brad Robinson (cityclinic) and Mark Cooper all the way from Sydney joining us on the drive. So let's give them a great Victorian welcome. Brad will give us some up to date info on the club scene in NSW and nationally.

Hoping to see you all there, it's been a while since we've been cruising together.

Please respond here or PM me.

Name(s) :
Number attending breakfast : Lunch :
Meeting us : 8am Doncaster or 9am Breakfast (venue TBA)

Getting a head start on that summer tan no doubt.

Mark and I are looking forward to the Melbourne trip particularly now with a drive organised for the weekend we are there. Great timing.

Regards

Brad

Talking Can an ex-member join???

Hi Eltel, long time no visit the site. I may be free on that day. Wouldn't mind a drive and catch up with some of you guys as well as meeting some new ones. That's if non-Cooper drivers are allowed. Don't worry, will not be offended if the answer is no. Perfectly understandable. Afterall it is a MINI meet, and my car is no longer so mini.

Hi WAY, we'd love to have you along, but we're trying to organise these days for MINI owners as we try to build up our club. So I'm going to have to say, "you should have kept your MINI".

I hope you understand, I don't like turning friends away. Please keep in contact though. OK?

Regards, ElTel

Hey ElTel, no worries. As I said, fully understandable. I will still be around. Will not forget my MINI friends. That's the best part about the MINI. There are just so many of you enthusiastic owners in Australia. No other car I have owned has such a large following in Australia that we get our own section of the forum. I thought before I bought the Cooper S that the Audi TT members were enthusiastic, but you guys and gals are even more so!

The address is 812-814 Doncaster Road (photographed below), although for legal reasons, this is not a dealership event - just a group of MINI owners meeting at a familar location, to go for a nice Sunday morning drive.
