Well after a bit of hard work and angst, clubMINI Inc is finally incorporated.

After a bit of piggy in the middle with the Office of Fair Trading (Qld) our incorporation is back, our constitution accepted and best of all we’re taking members. Another milestone is the clubMINI website (albeit a bit basic atm) is also and taking members.

So for Queenslanders looking to join here are the details:

Membership fees (based on the successful Mini Owners Club of Qld (MOC) and the BMW Club of Queensland.

Single: $45
Dual: $60

This is an introductory fee expected to rise no more than $10-$15 after October. (So get in early).

What do you get as a member of clubMINI?

Well first of all you’re a member of a club that’s got something for everyone. We have MINI enthusiast members and we have members who just love the company of good people, enjoy drives through some of the most beautiful places in the country, and love the many different activities organised with club member input. With such a diversity of tastes, our events are planned accordingly.

clubMINI events in the pipeline:

Saturday 20 September: Track Day at Queensland Raceway 12:30pm start

Sunday 21 September: BBQ in the Park (Captain Burke Park) at Kangaroo Point under the Story Bridge 10am start

(MINI Drive in the planning between BBQ and Show and Shine day. Keep an eye out here)

Sunday October 19: Show and Shine Day at Siromet Wineries Mt Cotton Rd Mt Cotton

We’re also taking expressions of interest for our Defensive Driving Days. No more than 10 people per group with the first two filled an a third filling fast.


You also get great discounts from many retailers including various BMW/MINI outlets. (You can save the price of your membership on your first service and a MINI T-shirt).
