Offline | beware!!! the practice of "hiring" non commercially registered vehicles is illegal, if the Transport Dept or DMV etc find out you'll be fined a motza, so it's best to ask for a "volunteer" which I'm sure you'll find, and discuss any "arangements" away from any public type forum such as this. Just a word of warning for you and anyone who thinks they are helping someone out by doing their wedding for them. It's a great idea and go for your life as it makes people love our cars even more, but just make sure that "officially" you've done it purely as a favour and have recieved no payment in any shape or form. I was a chauffer for a while when I was younger and the Qld Transport Dept took great pride in handing out fines to people who owned luxury cars or classic cars that hired them out for Weddings and School Formals. Good luck on the big day and I'm sure one of the Sydney guys will help you out. 02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW. You don't know the meaning of practical until you've owned a Camry! (seriously it's not a bad car though ) |

Offline | To add to what Jase said... Most Insurance companies don't cover you if you are 'hiring' out your vehicle or using it as a 'taxi' so be careful. As Jase said, get some 'volunteers'. Neeshil |

Offline | Hi, Tanya is obviously a mini fan and would love nothing more than to get driven to her nuptials in a beuatiful silver mini. Sounds awesome to me! I would do it myself, but unfortunately I only have an ugly British Racing Green. Also my suspension might be a little harsh for a bride? Surely there is someone here who has the right car who can help her out (as a favour) without worrying about the legal implications. Robbo |

Offline | Hi Tanya I would have "volunteered" my Dark Silver Cooper S and myself but I will be in Shanghai. Keep trying , I'm sure another kind hearted Silver Mini owner will come to your assistance. |

Offline | Hi, hope you managed to find yourself a mini for the big day. Good luck - hope it goes well. I wonder if you ever found a hire company in Aus that has minis. I am holidaying in Melbourne next Easter. Wanted to hire a mini for my stay. Do you have any ideas? Let me know, Thanks. |
