Here is an extract from the Femantle Motor Museum pages

"To help promote York and the museum we developed the York Flying 50, a regularity racing event, to relive the golden age of around-the-houses racing in Australia. The Flying 50 was the first of the new era of round-the-houses races which are now conducted all over Australia"

So basically old men in old cars driving around WA's oldest inland settlement.

Sorry Mike, but unfortunately busy that day. Great suggestion though. Have you had any response from any of the other Perth drivers about some sort of drive day?
