Getting abit cheeky are we now? You might get sick of seeing my rear end at the track as I know where im going there ( round & round , and cant get lost).

By the way , have you had any track experience?

I might need to follow you around for a few laps to find the best lines for the MINI ... but then it should get interesting.

It depends how long you want to go back when you say "any track experience" .... there was a period that I vaguely remember having my butt glued into Clubmans, Super Karts and Formula Fords ... And I did run around in a very quick 'Ludwig Fineur' built 3 Series BM in the 80's .... loved Winton

Yep .... and Grandpa might just whoop your A .... Brocky is older than me and he won Bathurst 2003, so you might want to be careful if you get in front of us old blokes, there's still a bit of lead left in the right foot, we are just a little slow getting it on the brakes I have been practicing my left foot braking to compensate ...

Unfortunately won't arrive and be fitted until after Jan 26 Track Day ... so I guess I'll just have to put up with having no brakes on occasions ... don't be in front of me when that happens .. I might be using you to slow me down

Whats the name of that fluid you are recommending?

Now your getting me worried. Dont know what name that fluid is but ring Nick at Peak Performance ( 9683-5577) and he will help you 100%.
Oh by the way , Mini's tend to always overheat the engine oil ( 140-150 deg) at the track and constant driving at high temps can destroy your engine ( I have now got an oil cooler ) , so be carefull and we all can leave the track with a smile.

p.s Hope your wheels fit over your brakes.

Thanks Chris,

I'll look into the oil cooler and fluid. For the brakes I only have to fit 10mm spacers to suit the S Spoke 17's and I've also ordered an oil catch can (below) from Alta which should help with retaining power under the additional loads we'll putting the engine under at the track.

Excellent. With that 10mm spacer , check with your insurance as some of them regard spacers as illegal or simply dont tell them, if you have accident ( touch wood) remove them before assesment.
