Hi Ross,

We have only just organised the invites to be mailed out to owners in Sydney and Canberra (non MINI2er's) so you've still got plenty of time. End of next week should be fine.

Regards

Brad

hehehe, I think I've trained my CVT too well.... it's learnt that I love pushing it hard so it's guzzling up lots of fuel Slightest touch on the accelerator and it wants to go. I'm trying my best to get my run in period over as soon as possible (I'm on 450kms now, had it a week) so hopefully I'll allow myself to use my SD and M modes and get to play with the paddles

Cool Dooks

so hows Moopy treating ya? have u done the 1-d-sd flick?
it is the best for cvt but i need to get new wheels for my MC coz i only have 15" wheels on it and making high speed turns with the RunFlats it makes a massive skit noise trying to keep up with a Cooper S

but i am looking forward to meeting Dooks and Daniel on 28th

BTW have we announced the Meeting point yet?

Regards,
Eric

Mooper is awesome. I have 16" wheels and they too make a screeching skid noise when I go really fast around corners. I think I heard it the second day after I got the car

Hi Ross,

Great to see you on the drive, I am sure there will be a partner for you to hit a ball or two. Not much of a tennis player myself ... squash has had a bit of influence on my inability to keep the ball in the court.

When people go on drives, do they bring an extra bottle of coolant and engine oil and other bits of spare stuff? I am wondering whether it's a good idea to keep some in the car.

Only if we go via "Wakfield Raceway" . There are plenty of outlets along the way. Check all fluid levels and fill up before we meet on Saturday and you should be fine.
An email has been sent to all attendees with a short briefing for Saturday and Sunday.
Regards

Brad

We are getting some feedback via email from Canberra and Sydney owners re meeting prior Berrima (the Drive Briefing Venue). Drive Paks including Nav sheets will be given out in Berrima. Will post as soon as we make a decision re meeting point ex Sydney/Canberra.
