Pics from "The Canberra Classic Run": Feb 28/29

I dropped into the Mini gathering this morning and hooked up with Tim (IML337). I have met Tim and Ross (^UB^) thru the Aussie VWvortex forum. Didn't speak to too many of you as I was wary of not imposing too much. Apologies for interupting the qeueue on the way to Bungendore, I let you past where possible. The "line" looked awesome from the back of the queue anyway ... and no, I've never been in a Golf convoy that long before.

Anyway, here's some pics I took today. I haven't quite sussed out how to post the pics as thumbnails, so, I'm not too sure if I'm following the correct protocol.

















The top floor of the building in the background is where I work, so if any of the locals are cruising past on Canberra Ave and see me gawking at you driving past, gimme a wave and a beep of your horn.

I hate to be picky but if MINI/BMW put the John Cooper stripes on that CR/W S I'd take it back, they are the Cooper ones... about an inch shorter

I thought the Cooper stripes were plain white and the Cooper S stripes had a black edge like those shown here

They make the white stripes with black edges for both now, the Cooper ones are shorter
