Saw the black/black Cooper S again today, with a nice girl inside - I came up from behind and flashed, she waved enthusiasticlly, and when I pulled along side waved crazy its such a good feeling waving to other Mini owners

Hi okapi,

Spotted a bunch of MINIs this morning in Sydney, and again on the way home from Oran Park.

I'll try and remember...

CR/CR MCS - painted trims, yellow plates
IB/W Cooper
LY/B MCS
CR/W Cooper (liveried up - cant remember the company now)
HB/HB MCS
LY MCSC
and finally, followed a CR/W MCS up through Bondi basically to the Pacific Highway

Some say he loves gaming and that he also loves house work..... All we know is, he's called The ScottyB!

i was in perth for less than a day (that's after being on the road all across the country and southeast asia). yeah it was a great parking spot and there was plenty of room on the other side of you. i usually park out in the new section or downstairs in the red level.

Could be . . I did a heap of walking between appts in the CBD yesterday. Melbourne is a great city, easy to find your way around, excellent shopping, sensational cafes and restaurants and lots of eye candy Visiting the Audi Dealer in Swanston Street today . . . The A3 Quattro Sportback is looking like a preferred option for a change up to a four door now that there are three of us. May have to get rid of the MINI

That is a very nice dealership... I watched it get built when I was at RMIT - my classes were all in the buildings opposite the Baths (the old red brick building)

once the babyseat is facing forward, getting into the back seat isn't a problem at all. we actually put my daughter in the car quite often. the only downside is the inability to carry a big pram, but that's ok by me...

I know, I know . . however we only have a one car garage now (storing furniture for my sister-in-law while her and hubby set up our business in US) so we are down to one car and the MINI is no longer practicle. We have a large three wheeler pram (Ranger) which fits easily in the MINI Baby Ashley loves the MINI . . . Elizabeth prefers a 4 door auto so the compromise is an A3 3.2 Quattro Sportback. I haven't driven one yet however the stats look good, price is not bad and the reports I've seen give it a thumbs up.

130i would be only marginally bigger than a MINI.

I say a Liberty GT wagon, or 3.0R-spec B. Assuming a wait for a GTI is out of the question.
