Yeah ok. I will shove them in the back of the car now. Just so you now it will lower your car around 30mm and should look like this.

Hi,

I allways wave to fellow mini drivers that I see, whether old or new. Unfortunately, sometimes I see them too late!

Generally the response is pretty poor What is the matter with people? It is frustrating to wave to a fellow mini owner, look them in the eye and have them look the other way

My best experience was with an old red mini coming in the opposite direction. My daughter (Katie) spotted it and said "mini alert", before I even had time to flash my lights, the three passengers in the car (18-20yo guys) were hanging out the window waving and smiling at us, as we waved back

Mods: Hartge kit, CAI, oil cooler, headers, cat & exhaust, bilstein coilovers, adjustable bars & camber plates, quaife diff, roll cage, seats, harnesses

I had a similar experience last Saturday in the City, an older fully restored Yellow Mini pulled up next to me at a set of lights, 4 people in the car (18-20 year olds) all waving and smiling at me, we had a good chat at the lights then went our seperate ways.
Maybe it just me be it seems to be younger people in older Mini's and older people in Newer MINI"s

Hi,

You are probably right I have have the most waves from young people in old minis Unfortunately, they probably see me as an "old" person in a new mini

Obviously this hasn't happened to me in a MINI yet, but some young guys in a Mk1 Golf cruised for a few sets of lights with me one day. Loads of fun all round.

Firstly, I raced a silver manual cooper off the lights crossing between oxford street and Lang rd today against my new work mule, a Mercedes A190 LWB 'funshift' and won. I was gutted that I could beat this, the driver if reading this should be ashamed. I would of got out and had a hard talk to them if I saw that sort of thing whilst in my S.
Also, pardon to the green Cooper whome I scared the out of on Wednesday going down the Vaucluse esses. I guess a sliding CLK tail can be a bit scary, especially at about 3ft away. Sorry, but you got to go a bit harder mate, even its not a Mini, the challenge is still there!
