It's a rare occasion to head to Melbourne, so I try to make the most of it...

Hey, I'm heading to Melbourne on Friday actually....Then onto the boat and over to Tassie!

We'll be on bikes though! Can any of you Melbourne people suggest a motel for us to stay on the way back...We'll be in your fine city on Monday 13th which is the week leading up to the games...We're worried we might be scratching for a room!

An EB/W following me on Epping road this afternoon. I waved but if they waved back I wasn't looking at the right time.

Then a Red/W on Warringah rd or something and they waved.
Saw a Dark Silver something turning Boundary Rd right onto Pacific H-way they didn't wave.

Got a wave when I pulled up behind a Light (Pure?) Silver MCS with bonnet stripes and driving lights. Coming off the M2 and then we drove up Old Northern rd. Two lanes, two MINI's it doesn't get much better than that. I can't tell if she wanted to 'drag' at the lights but I bet she could tell I'm still useless with a sporty manual. (I've driven Maximas -auto- for 5 years.)

------------
I was driving around last night and for a moment - just a moment mind you - I almost remembered my destination. - It's all about the journey, not the destination.

Spotted my first Checkmate yesterday on Bulleen Road. The checkers on the side look quite good!

Hmm, do you think MINI Australia really thought the naming of the Checkmate thoroughly?

At the very least, they should be embracing this fact with safety messages in their advertising.

Liam,

Stick a packet in Andrews glove box as a "car warming present", after he gets the new car.

"Ribbed for her pleasure"?

*sorry

All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it

spotted a fellow B/B mcs this morning at Redfern. They had the massive 'Cooper S' sticker planted across the top of their windscreen. Didn't wave as I was on foot
