Offline | I did wave, honest! I thought that's why you were watching your speed on occasions. I was looking for the camera's on the southbound where the speed limit reduces through the cutting (they are very visible on the northbound) As for looking for the Old Bill being parked up, I never saw one patrol car during all my time between Melbourne and Newcastle and back again. Didn't go too crazy over the speed limit but I did get the change to stretch the Clubman's legs every now and again. I loved the drive up to the Telstra Tower (black mountain hill??) in Canberra. Slightly off topic but in doing 2600km's, I averaged 6.8l/100km at and average of 88.2kph. Nearly up to 11000km's in three months! |

| Whatev. | Whoops. I need to start paying attention to peoples cars and make sure they are not from here when I go putting my foot in my mouth ![]() I thought you may have reckoned I was just dim (well, truth be told I am) because I wasn't keeping my speed very constant. Nice work on the kms. Tis good to see someone else racking up the kms (will hit 140,000 tomorrow). There are two fixed speed cameras northbound - one at Ourimbah and the other just up the hill from the Hawkesbury. There are none southbound though, which is why there are plenty of potential speed traps. I was playing hookey and heading to PITS. ![]() ![]() |

Using laser projectors, the new display — which replaces the Mini’s centre dial — controls the entertainment, telecommuniction and navigation systems. " Would be interested to see what this looks like. |

Offline | That would indeed have been me. I work in Cooraproo so that would have been me in the thread above as well. Not many people have a bright yellow MINI with Black Roof; Blackedout windows & 18" Simmons wheels that sits as low as mine, so you are porbably safe to wave if you see a car fitting that discription ... escpecially in Coorparoo ![]() QuickBrick |
