A story in the SMH today talked about protesters outside Sydney Uni being sprayed with something called "capsicum spray". I wondered what colour the spray was - yellow, red, green or that slightly sinister-looking orange. And did they manage to dice their capsica finely enough for it to have an effect?

Which got me thinking: is the Pepper Pack marketed in Oz as the Capsicum Pack, and if not, why not?

I think deployment of the capsicum spray was a direct order from the Police MINIster.
