Offline | there's been some talk over the last few months of a run up the coast to Port Macquarie & then inland to Tamworth... so i'm posting to get expressions of interest & input as to dates etc! we'd be looking at ~660 km up from sydney & 830 km down from brisbane... ![]() ~500 km back to sydney, & 575 km to brisbane! ![]() so... we'll be looking at a full 2 day run leaving first thing on a saturday morning i'll look into accommodation just out of tamworth depending on numbers i'll also look into including more scenic [& less highway] driving on the above routes all input much appeciated, especially from those that may have driven-around or stayed up this way previously! be sure to list your prefered dates if it's an issue! Offline | I'll be there if dates are OK, July sounds the go. The Oxley Hwy has lots of MINI roads and Thunderbolts Way from Walcha to Gloucester is equally good, the road from Gloucester to Raymond Terrace will work out our kidneys, sealed but bumpy. Vic ![]() |

Offline | there's no rush on the run itself, but getting a date & some details finalised sorta soon-ish should mean we get a good turn-out & a well-organised trip! let's see what the hoards have to say! ![]() |

Offline | If it is an early July trip, I should be able to take my baby up there! ![]() I spoke to my dealer today - he seems to think my little girl is heading down the build line as we speak ![]() Meaning, very end of June delivery if all goes well. Heres hoping. ![]() |

| MINI2 Senior | Great idea Gazah!!! Why don't some of us Queenslanders pop along? It's around half way between Brisbane and Sydney and I know a few of us'd be dead keen to come on some informal run. My wife's due to have our baby last week of June/first week of July and clubMINI's heading to the snow in August so early June would be great! 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th perhaps? Should be a bit of accommodationthat time of year too. Nice and cold for the superchargers as well. |

Offline | Sounds good to me . Some time in July would be a nice time of year for a run up the coast & would be a good excuse for me to leave Tamworth on the sunday & head up to the sunshine coast for a nice break from a wintery Sydney . Keep us all posted Gaz , ill have a look for some nice roads on the net ! |
