| MINI2 Lurker | I've been approached by a friend who is getting married in September, to use my MINI as transportation for the bride (and the father of the bride) and bridesmaids to the wedding venue. Now, we all know that it's a tight squeeze to fit four adults into one MINI, and in my case, it's impossible . I was wondering if any of the friendly Brisbanites residing on this forum would be willing to give up a few hours of their time to help out a lovely young lady on her wedding day?The details are: Date: 11 September 2004 Time: approx 3.00pm pick up (trip would be 10 minutes at the most) Trip: Collection from Powerhouse Hamilton to New Farm Park. # of MINI's Needed: 4 (colour isn't important, but, the bride has asked for no black MINI's sorry black MINI owners)The wedding is at 3.30pm, the couple would also like to have some photos taken with our MINI's, so we would probably be needed until about 4.30pm and that would be the extent of our duties. The couple are prepared to provide a thank-you gift, to the MINI pilots, of the alcoholic kind i.e.beer/wine. If you would like to help transport a beautiful young bride/bridesmaid, with impeccable taste, to her wedding in style please indicate your interest in this thread or PM me. Thanks. ...eat a snack with Brown and Black. |

| MINI2 Lurker | Neeshil, thanks for your offer, we've now got enough MINI's. Thanks to all who offered their services, it's good to know that there are so many generous MINI owners out there who are only too willing to help out others. Last edited by Sooper Cooper s : Sep 4th, 2004 at 10:19 PM. |

If I am still free at the time I can drive over. (I live in New Farm and am fairly close) And yeah.. the MINI owners are all fantastic and generous. | MINI2 Lurker | The day went quite well, no problems at all. I certainly enjoyed the afternoon. The banter in the park, whilst we were waiting for the ceremony to finish, is something that will bring a smile to my face for many days to come ![]() A big thanks to the guys who helped out, and also to those who offered their services. |
