Offline | Youre right about that. Guess its a good thing, sort of. Haha Not that theres anything wrong with DS, in fact I almost got that over the PS - but according to the colour chart in the Cooper S forum, its even more popular than EB! ![]() I spose I havent seen everyone in the Oz contingent, but I still havent seen my PS/B in the flesh on the S, or a LY or CR. Im looking forward to it for photos though! Need a bit more colour on my walls ![]() |

| Whatev. | I am getting dissappointed with the number of EB's on the coast too. Out of 6 cars that went on a run yesterday. Half of them were EB. I am needing stripes. My car spends all day parked in a shopping centre car park as that is where my office is. It is only a community shopping centre but the main customers are old people who do not dare to drive to the big shops, school run mums in their heaving great 4WDs and the drunks that hang around the bottle shop. I try and park next to edges of the car park or next to other shop keepers cars. *Touch wood* I have been parking there for over 10 years and have only had my car damaged twice. Once was my Datsun 120Y and I didn't care about that. The second was a nice big hit to my six week old Barina. That one I got cranky about. As for the oldies - there is more independence in handing your licence back because you are admitting that you lack the coordination and skill and eyesight and reflexes to not be a menace on the road. I watched one old bloke walk very very slowly towards his very very very very crookedly parked JAG one day. He very very very slowly opened the door and it took him at least two minutes to get himself into his car. There is no way he could have lifted his foot onto his brake in time to stop for anything unexpected. He simply could not move that fast. They are the ones who have caused the most damage at work over the years - one old lady took out 4 cars one day just attempting to leave her parking spot! ooh look I wrote an essay. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Ahh, doorbangers MUST die!!! Always park in a DFZ* if you can, in between two poles, one pole at the very least ... and really close, even if it means your passenger has to get out via the sunroof! Or next to a wheelie park, gambling on the fact that noone will park there. I hate doorbangers and their lack of respect, as mentioned is better for all to park some distance away and walk the extra 2 minutes. Better to do that than go, "F@#K!!! I shoulda parked 2 minutes away and walked!" MINI2ers unite in freeing the world of doorbangers. ![]() * DFZ = doorbanger free zone. |

| #0024 | I think the reason y that they got EB is that it was an exclusive color for the MCS until sept 2003 same with DS hence i have my sights set on a PW/B MCS for my next car unless theres another color coming out BTW all DoorBangers and Hit and Runners must get the Krush Kill and Destroy Treatment i been hit by Camry's Rav4's and Corolla's curse those jap car drivers ... lol but then i guess it's bound to happen one day to an unfortunate Mini Owner.. regards, Eric ![]() |

Offline | Probably right there. Id still pick the EB/W or EB/B over the EB/EB. The MINI needs that contrast methinks ![]() Pepper White is good. I will be interested to see more of it in the flesh. As with the Pure Silver, it is totally set off with a Black roof. Hot stuff. |

Offline | When we ordered our MCS the ol girl wanted CR, but one of the "persuading" factors was that CR is just sooo common ... well, at the Foundation 100 meet in Bowral a few weekends back there were three, count 'em, three Indi Blues and not one Chili Red! ![]() |

Offline | Hi, If you wait a few years you won't get a supercharged S, but a naturally aspirated Peugot engine Not sure if that is a good or bad thing It's probably a better engine, but not as easily tunable I cant remember the last red mini I saw. There is a major shortage of them in the miniclubs in Sydney / Central Coast. Loads of BRG / EB / DS . Hope to see you on the Hunter valley drive Cheers Robbo Mods: GO MADDIE and SPARKY! |
