Hi all

has anyone out there got their MC/MCS bashed by other fellow motorist's Doors while getting into their 4WD/Sedan?
I swear their lack of respect and Jealousy for MC/ MCS disgusses me

i have a bit of Bruises on my car its not funny

i recently spotted another hit to my passenger door can be seen from a distance on the side but there are no scratches

but this makes the car looking out of place with such bruises

So fellow Mini2ers beware of such acts

Bad news mate, the MINI is very vulnerable to that with no rub strips and all. I find the best thing to do is presume that people will try and take you out, so then you park so that it is physically impossible to hit you.

Try looking for big spots, parking next to poles, park up hill from trolley returns. Don't be afraid to walk, it's good for you and your mini

Easy fix to this one is not to park your MCS in shopping centre car parks , Its full of runaway shopping trolley's with minds of their own.

maybe park next to prestige/luxury cars?

my theory is that they may respect our minis and show some care when they open their doors.

then again, it's only a theory, as is communism...

It probably isn't jealousy, more like thoughtlessness and selfishness

Some people just don't care about anything that isn't them

As above, try parking in "safer" spots, it may help a bit.

Dont worry to much i had the same dent and you cant see i bnow. speak to wane green at prestige auto. He will fix it at mini 2 rates!
