I am still trying to get an entry form I have rung Judy twice in the last two days, and both times she promised she would fax me an entry form, but so far, no entry form

Unfortunately it has been complicated by the fact that my home fax is broken.

If anyone has a form could they fax me one at 97491586 marked "Attention Andrew Robinson"

If not I'll have to ring Judy for a third time tomorrow

Todays Daily Telegraph has a story on The All British Race Day and the MINI vs Mini event is part of the story. I will be following up Judy and Gary today to find out what the hell's going on. I must say, since we have been speaking to them (2 months now) they have not been very clear about the whole event. I hope this does not cause anyone any disapointment on the day. I will endevour to have a event schedule posted by tonight.

Thanks for faxing the form

I spoke to Judy yesterday regarding the mini vs mini race. She wasn't sure what was happening. Apparrently they have 19 old minis racing. However, most of these are "superminis" with the full body kit etc. They are trying to find a "standard" old mini to race. I told her I was going (provided she faxed me an entry form ), and I was happy to participate in the old vs new mini race. However, I am not sure whether my car will be allowed, as it doesn't have a roll cage. However, if it is mini vs mini "demonstration" , I'm sure it will be fine

We will be taking the M5 and Hume all the way to the Wakefield turn off. We'll probably top up our tanks in Goulburn before heading over to Wakefield. If we leave Neutral Bay (The Oaks) at 6.15 we'll be going past the Rockdale exit at around 6.25 - 6.30 am. PM your mobile number and we'll call you on approach.

For anyone who has not been to Wakefield in the Winter, be warned, it gets very cold, and the forecast is for cold westerley winds with snow down to 1100 metres on Saturday and cold winds for Sunday. Max temp for Goulburn being 10 degrees, add a wind chill factor and that will decrease to about 3-4 degrees. It will be cold. so take plenty of Hot clothes for the Hot Laps.

Working this weekend, but if i finish ealry I'll drop in late Sunday to say Hi!

I'm glad I've got my Tassy gear including TASMINIA Vest. Sounds like it will get a workout at Wakefield on Sunday. It is said the wind in Goulburn is lazy .. .. goes right through you rather around you. MINI's however love the cold weather.

The last time I was up there I only could manage 1.14.????sec , but that was with just lowered springs. I now have got coilovers with 600's springs up front and front and rear camber (2.5deg-front , 3.5deg-rear). I should be able to shave a second or so of my last time as the car feels so much better around other tracks . I shouldn't so to bad against the clock
