Would it be ok for me to substitute a driver for my car on this dayas im working on the day . i was going to get my brother to drive for me as he & I are driving at an MX5 club day at Wakefield the next day.

G'day all,

Track day information will be available next week. The race manager at Wakefield Park’s computer died last week and she can't access the forms you will have to fill in. All races will be required to be at the track by 8.30am on the day. Race/drivers meeting will be at 9.00am for all drivers over ever class, so you’re not alone.

A full days racing schedule will hopefully be produced by Wakefield on Tuesday. I have been asking them for this information for 5 weeks now.

There will be two racing sections open to the new MINI’s:

Exhibition Race: 5 or 6 laps with a selected group of new MINI. TBA. Free.

Regularity Laps: 3 x sessions over the day of a TBA number of laps to test your times around the track. Cost is $150.00 + you get four free tickets to the event on the day for friends to attend.

The day may have to break into two groups traveling down to the event.
Group 1: Racers leave Sydney at 6am.
Group 2: Show & Shine leave Sydney at 8am. Please talk about this with other members online so you can get a feel of who’s going with who.

Show and shine car can turn up later at 10.00am and a section has been set aside for the new MINI’s to be on display.

Bro, I have to move house on the 26th, so I know you can make it happen if you want. I get to move all day on Sat, and drive on Sun, so that night I can then sleep on my couch when I get home. Too easy

As i mentioned in a post a week or so ago I working on the sunday but am trying to get my brother to substitute for me as we are both driving an MX5 club day the following day at Wakefield.

I ll know if he can drive for me by the middle of the week ( AS HE WORKS MOST W/ENDS ALSO ) !
