Offline | MickyD, Picked up my MINI 3 weeks ago & all i got was 2 cheap looking key rings & 2 MINI hats. I didnt even get the real MINI key ring.  Dealer was Classic MINI Parramatta. Offline  | At the risk of taking this thread OT, firstly, congratulations MickyD, the wait will be well worth it When I picked up my MINI I received the following: A lovely bunch of flowers for my wife, and a bottle of Croser champagne. A BMW key ring for my wife, a cool MINI keyring for me, a $100 MINI lifestyle voucher for me. We also got a full tank of fuel (regular unleaded) to send us on our way. I didn't get any freebies from Classic either, but I can assure you the last thing on my mind was a free t-shirt when I drove out of the showroom in a fully loaded Cooper S for the first time And for the record Classic were very good to me, but the staff has changed since then... |

Offline  | Nice one MickyD. You won't regret the Xenons or the HK. I swapped cars with my SIL today because she needs kms on her car and I am the km whore. Really really missed my Xenons and HK. I also missed my 6th gear and my supercharger and my sunroof and my electric blue and my ......... I miss my baby. Congrats Micky. Offline | Double posted on the freebie thing: I got 3/4 tank of regular fuel that made me think I had the stumble A bottle of champagne A little dance from all the salesmen at the dealership (cheeeeeeeesey!) I also got the keyring with my MINI service card. A client had already bought me one as a present when I got the car so that meant I had two. The husband figure had to have the second one despite being advised that it would explode because of the way he abuses his keys. Dunno how long it lasted but it was no more than a couple of days! |
