The wheels that I have shown you require a 5mm spacer but the ones in the pic below dont require spacers . Sorry but you have no chance of fitting the standard wheels back on , even with 30mm spacers ( Brad Cityclinic had that trouble ). I had to lend my other wheels to Brad until he finds some ( BRG Mini below ).

so I might hv to do without the AP brakes, may try Tarox/Brembo if that fits, coz I like the looks of the S-Lite wheels.
Thx for all info guys
BTW, are cityclinics' calipers APs or something else?

Forget about Brembo, they wont fit s-lites and I hear that Tarox are about the same size as Brads Alta Monster calipers. One choice is the smaller AP big brake kit which has a much smaller disc but 'apparently' is the best balanced for cars around the 200hp mark plus it warranties the whole kit, being specifically designed for the Mini. They are already painted red with white writing and are quite a bit cheaper than the Peak kit.
I think these guys are the wholsalers: http://www.compfriction.com.au

If you go to see Nick at Peak Performance , he has got slimer/smaller Harrop Brakes fitted to the rear of his Z3 racecar . They look like they will fit under the standard wheels and are more than enough to stop a Mini. I think Big Brakes like the AP's are really overkill for braking for the Mini.
Nick custom made the brackets for my brakes and I can assure you that he can do them for the Harrop's

If you want to know what brakes he has, they are Alta Big brake kit which are available at AMG down in the new hotel in Rushcutters Bay just down from Bob Jane.
Expensive though!
I think he's in Tas.
