Not sure 89?

You can do it yourself by using Engine Block Paint, it comes in a spary can and you buy it from most leading Auto shops. You will need to do a bit of masking up around the caliper's and throw and old sheet over the car. Shoulden't take more than an hour.

Coop's.

It Sounds like you ordered the seperate caliper from AP which is straight black (no yellow lettering). Problem with removing the paint is that you may crack something under the pressure. I was going to order those but was told there "maybe" offset and size issues. How did the installation go?

What colour did you want to do?

The calipers are black with yellow letterings, they were from a BMW E46. I was told by Peak that they can be fitted onto my MCS, but it hasnt been done yet

Sound good, are they the ones Nick sells or are they your own?
Most good mechanics can do it if they are desperate for work (not really what you look for in a mechanic though, but the prob is getting someone who is willing to do a good job. Had some huge stoptechs fitted to my old Range Rover which were red, when I tried to get a different mechanic to paint the rear brakes a matching red, they ed it up and it looked really bad till I got it fixed.
I would recommend the guy whos fiiting my Brembos this week but depending on where you live it might seem a bit of a trek just for a quick 1 hour application + drying time, he's somewhere around Erina though (where the hell is that???)

And the same as mine. Nick from Peak also done my brake conversion which im very happy with . Those ones on Nicks E46 where originally on my E46 330ci which I took everything off and sold it. The wheels Nick also has on that car where also mine
I must also say that you need different wheels to fit over the BIG brakes . See pic

Your best bet is to PM Brad ( Cityclinic ) as he got his painted green and I have seen them and can tell you that its a top paint job.

Its steven fryer engineering, I know him personally so I can trust him. I think he said he was near erina, I am now going to call him before I head there. Told me something interesting about the brakes on the BMW/MINI drive school which he fitted?????

great rims mate, you've got a point about the brakes though. 89, if youre using standard wheels you will not be able to fit them. It seems that you have to spend alot on a set of rims which fit, unless you find some knockoffs which exactly match.
30mm Spacers are'nt the answer!!

are the calipers on your MCS the same as the ones on the E46? or r they smaller?
do you think if the S-Spoke will fit with the APs? may be with spacers?

not to discourage you but, spacers only offput the whole setup of the car. Unless you can trim the s-spoke, might seem bit to expensive unless looking towards aftermarket rims.

The brakes I have are the same as the E46 fitted on Nicks car.
The wheels that I have shown you require a 5mm spacer but the ones in the pic below dont require spacers . Sorry but you have no chance of fitting the standard wheels back on , even with 30mm spacers ( Brad Cityclinic had that trouble ). I had to lend my other wheels to Brad until he finds some ( BRG Mini below ).
