Offline | Hey Robbo, Mooper is waiting patiently at Prestige Auto Salon, where he had his right butt-cheek smoothed out as a test patch. It looked almost brand-spanking new The rest of the car will be done sometime Tues/Wed/Thu, as I can't take time to pick Mooper up until next Saturday morning anyway, I told Wayne to take his time.It's extremely painful $$ but I'd rather have it properly done now than cringing everytime I look at him. Apparently I can't claim insurance as I didn't get the other guy's number plate (well I can but I was told I'd have to pay excess PLUS lose my maximum NCD). I had a snoop around and I suspect it wasn't a council truck afterall but it was a removals truck or something - I drove around the area of the incident and found a removalist truck similar to the one that pulled out in front of me... but I couldn't be 100% sure. It had scrap metal in it when I found it parked while I was snooping.I am trying hard not to think of the $$ I was saving money for an "upgrade" but this will set me back somewhat. Anyhoo, I love Mooper so it's all good. Besides Wayne seems like a top bloke and he even gave me a ride to the train station so I trust him. |
