Nope. Frighteningly, they didnt even know it was off the boat when I called last week.

Nothing too unusual about that in my experience

Have always found regular subtle reminders are very useful <translation ring the dealer every 2 days and ask "Is it here yet? Is it here yet?">

Who are you insured with? Something similar happened to me (did not know the vehicle responsible for the collision).

Before making my claim I got quotes on how much the repair would be. I then checked with my insurer on how I can make a claim (if I had too) and not lose my NCB. They informed me that I had to pay an additional $50 to protect my NCB component for the year. So there and then I paid the additional premium over the phone.

At this stage, I had not informed them that I actually had an accident and was about to make a claim. Having paid the premium, I waited a couple of weeks and made the claim. Presto - NCB intact.
