To all Canberra MINI owners

Its high time we got together for two of lifes essentials - driving and coffee.

I'm suggesting meeting at the Lisboa Cafe in Woden for a morning coffee on Sunday June 20 and then driving to and along the Cotter road and stopping at the Tidbinbilla tracking station. Aside from morning tea at the Moon Rock Cafe its a fantastic location to take some photos with some of the dishes which are in communication with the Mars Mission.

I'll be contacting the tracking station POC to see what can be arranged to get in through the gate to take photos closer to the big dish (not one of the little ones you can see in the photo). The idea is just for the Canberra MINI drivers to get together to meet each other, drag along some non-members to encourage them to join and have a good time.

I thinks its high time that we start organising a few Canberra events both locally and further afield, Tumut, Bega or Batesmans Bay.

Its only three weeks away but I figure that we don't need to long to organise a short drive in our own backyard. Please post your thoughts and start contacting other ACT MINI drivers who may not yet be members and bring them along.

You've more than welcome to sit in the navigators seat if your's hasn't arrived. If your cars arriving a week later does that mean you'll be joining us for a few laps of Wakefield Park on the 27th?

I did the Cotter road before Tassie and after Tassie. The after-Tassie run was soooo much better given all the training on the twisties over the week.

Hey Liam and Gary, I can't make the Mars Mission ( I have to re-sit my NASA exam after that last incident

) but I'm going to be in Canberra in my MINI the week of 4 July for work.
I was hopeing we could catch up and have a mini MINI dinner or drinks (non-alcoholic). Maybe a wet the Babys head for minigolf, let me know if you guys will be around then.

Excellent, Grant and I did the Canberra to Berrima run in February and really enjoyed it. We're looking forward to another run

Is it too late to give Stephen at Rolfe's a call. Maybe send out an email to owners or a letter and invite owners on the Run.?

We should also schedule a halfway run for NSW ACT owners one Sunday soon. What about a Run to The Briars for lunch? Straight down the freeway for a noon lunch and then home via some windy roads?

We could get Stephen to mail ACT owners and maybe intro some new blood to the ACT Chapter.
