Do you pay up front, or on the day?

We had to pay upfront. If you have to cancel you do your dough by increasing degrees the closer it gets to the big day. Someone didn't show up to the Sydney session so I assume that they lost $395 on that bet.

Is it still that price?

Yep $395 it is - they did say you could cancel or postpone but there was a certain period for which you had to give them notice. I can't remember what that period was as I had no intention of not going and wasn't listening

I think if you can get in - do the course - you will have heaps of fun fanging around with great instructors

I seem to recall my dealer mentioning that if you are in the BMW EPP (Executive Preference Program) you could get the training for something like $150 instead of $395, can anyone confirm this??

Phone BMW Driver Training and ask I guess... At $150 it would represent fantastic value!

Can't recommend doing the MINI Driver Training enough . . . . definately a great intro to the more intensive courses which will be announced next year. If you are really keen do the Advanced 1 or 2 after you do MINI. Even though these courses are in BMW 3 series including M3's you will learn heaps which can be applied to your driving on road and on track

So is the EPP something one joins or is part of for buying one of their vehicles?

it's the 'executive preference program'. It is something to do with the company you work with. I work for a large public company, and apparently that makes me eligible for it :-)

Ask the instructor in the M3 to give you a demo of oversteer while you're on the skidpan too
