INDEPENDANCE DAY RUN TO BOWRAL
THE BRIARS JULY 4th 2004

Its about time we had a quick run to Bowral for a halfway meet for NSW/ACT owners. The Briars have again allocated special parking for us and we'll be lunching at noon in the main dining room.

Sydney Return Waypoints:
Mount Murray, Macquarie Pass, Stanwell Tops, Royal National Park and Audley.

DRIVE FEES

Members: $15 per person
Non Members: $25 per person
Children: No Charge
Restaurant: The Briars; order and pay at restaurant. We have reserved seating to the right as you enter the restaurant from the verandah.
Parking: Drive to the end of the Carpark toward the hotel, open the gate and reverse park to the left on 45 degree angle to the Hotel. Close the gate if you are the last to enter.

I suppose I can manage to come along

hopefully won't be raining as hard as last time, could hardly see anything down the Hume at all

For some of us Sydney siders Liverpool is a city in England

I need more specific directions than that if the Sat Nav is going to have a fighting chance

I think I need to get a 2-way radio though, makes flying solo more fun I expect. Any recommendations on brand to buy??

Good idea Bob,

We will set an additional pick up point on the way down the F5 as Trelo suggested. We should also do like we did last run and swing by AMG at Rushcutters Bay to pickup the Eastern Suburbs team.

It might be easier for the Coasters to go straight down Penneant Hills road to pick up the M5. I'll upload a map.
