Offline | East Coast Targa Practice Weekend The East Coast Targa is on again this year from 27 - 30 October I competed last year in the mini finishing 3rd outright in the touring category! This year I have entered in my Lancia Delta Integrale & Andrew Robinson has entered in his mini cooper s works The course is different this year in a few sections Check out www.eastcoasttarga.com.au **** A few of us are going to Bathurst on the weekend of Spetember 11-12 for an overnight stay taking the back roads and following the East Coast targa Course. Some great driving roads in the middle of nowhere with an overnight stay in Bathurst Leaving from my place at Penrith Ideally a navigator would be useful BUT not essential Matthew Freeburn Downunder Last edited by gazah : Sep 2nd, 2004 at 10:24 AM. |

Offline | StuJones is running with me a navigator Put us down as a tentative yes (need to confirm with Stu) but should be a good learning exercise for us given that you have already done the rally Matt Stu has a shopping list as long as your arm so it would be a good time to dry-run some of the new toys ![]() |

Offline | Hi Matt, Yes, I am very interested. It is a perfect opportunity to trial driving / navigating and reccing the course, testing equipment etc. For anyone NOT going on the east coast targa, why not come along and experience the roads anyway Robbo Mods: GO MADDIE and SPARKY! |

Offline | Do you really want your navigator showing you how it should be done? We need to discuss but maybe more appropriate for you learning to take instruction from the passenger seat I'm sure Carrie probably thinks that is an are you need to work on ![]() |

Offline | I think its just a run over the Rally course and some accomm for one night and some meals. Shouldn't cost us more than $250 - $300 for the weekend including fuel. Mat will probably have a better idea. |

Offline | cost No Cost will be involved other than accomodation food & drinks I have the route instructions from last year But in theory we will follow the leader unless navigators want some practice We obviously cannot travel on both sides of the road & the slow down chicanes will not be in place CAUTION being the obvious answer Hence maximum of 10 cars MF Downunder |
