Ye all be nothin but a bunch of skirvy dogs, tis only I Savage Henry who is on the high seas (100km of the coast of Karratha, with not a buxom wench or ship's concubine to be seen) I should tie the lot of ya to the misen mast (or at least make you swab the poop deck). Anyway gotta go pick the weavils out of some biscuits I'll be back on dry land and behind the wheel in 15 days.

If you meant 9 o'clock by the lubbers clock that would be two bells in the forenoon watch.

A quick pirate time lesson:

The day is made up of 6 watches of four hours each:

midnight is the start of the middle watch, followed by the morning watch, forenoon watch, afternoon watch, two dog watches (of two hours each) and the first watch which ends at midnight. Each sounding of the bell indicates the half hour - simple eh
