I know - i thought the same thing.. The old V6 24 Galants were rockets !

If you had no idea at all you would swear blind that a 2.7l V6 would be heaps quicker than a 1.6 - The supercharger would make it interesting but still...

Im not sure if i am out to score with this one.. however the brownie points are NEVER a bad thing

One on one will probably end in tears for someone. Why don't you both take the trip down to Wakefield Park on a no-speed-limit day. You cheer her on as she does some circuits and then you do some circuits and compare lap times. Then its not like your racing her but you can still demonstrate what your car can do.

I think you ll just have to win . I cant see it ll be to much of a problem.

As for trying for her thats a bit of a different story. I will say one thing though - driving a Mini does help you to meet some rather " NICE " people. Ive found that driving a Mini helps break the ice for a conversation - sometimes conversation leads to other things !!!!!!
