Just seen the official times. I managed 16th overall out of 40 so pretty chuffed for a first out performance. Especially as I had the best fun for ages...no radars, no cops and foot to the floor....nice!

Hi,

The link to details is...

http://www.mx5vic.org.au/mx5vic.org....motorsport.asp

Look at the bottom of the screen where the entry form is and print out the details.

If you need info on car prep let me know. There are some basics tha you need in the car plus a CAMS 2s licence which is just a matter of filling in a form and paying uyour money...or do u already have the license?

Richard.

CAMS level 2 is the base level

You can make your own blue battery triangle from blue contact you can buy from a newsagent

You can make a basic bonnet restraint by getting a leather strap / belt etc, and looping it through your front bonnet grill and then through the front towhook

Cheers

Robbo

Mods: Hartge kit, CAI, oil cooler, headers, cat & exhaust, bilstein coilovers, adjustable bars & camber plates, quaife diff, roll cage, seats, harnesses
GO MADDIE and SPARKY!

I don't have a towhook. But the rest sounds pretty easy. (hopefully the blue contact won't scratch the paint...)

So cams level 2 license is $80

You should have a towhook in your toolkit.....there is a hole for it under the front grill on the drivers side....it screws in....there is a "plug" that is grill coloured that covers it. You can see mine screwed in in the pictures from Sandown.

CAMS level 2S (make sure you get the S and not the NS) is $85.

All being well I am definitely going to Winton on the 10th...

Richard.

Hi,

You need to look in the left hand side of the hatch space, behind the panel. There should be a little pouch that contains the tow hook, lock key for the wheel nuts, hook device to remove the hubcaps , and a interchangeable phillips head no.2 and standard screwdriver

Cheers

Robbo

do you mean right next to the battery? Wedged between the battery and the walls of the battery box is a foam rectangle that has the interchangeable screwdriver, locknut, a 10/13mm spanner, an allen key, and a little metal piece in the shape of a "b" (or "p"), which i assume is the hubcap thingy....nothing big enough to be a towhook
