Please let me have any dates so they can go into the clubmini motorsports calendar that we are putting together. We hope to have a more organised approach for people who want to get involved with their minis in motorsport...and hopefully more support for them as well.

I couldn't have gone to PI as I will be busy setting up cones etc. and generally helping organise DECCA....and I probably wouldn't have had a car as the new one is due just around that date.....

Just about put together the clubMINI motorsports calendar for 2007. Should be on the website shortly....first day is scheduled to be Phillip Island on 17th/18th Feb.....watch this space

What sort of day will it be? Driver education or just a track day?

It will be a sprint with practise on the Saturday if u want it and event on the Sunday....it will be with another of the CAMS clubs running it....PIARC....we haven't sorted out a seperate track day yet just for clubMINI but we are looking into it currently.....the more "experienced" guys should be on hand for those who want to take part in the events....we are planning a Motorsport meeting befor the end of January for interested people where we will go into the requirements and the calendar.......

Winton Super Sprint Feb 4 Benalla auto club.

I will be going all things being equal, about $120 entry, See benalla auto club website.

Stooge, you may be better off doing this event instead of the fun day, went a few years ago and didn't enjoy it at all. To many cars on the track and every local and his dog in their commodores thinking they are M Skiafe . If you go leave plenty of room and be very careful overtaking as most of the guys think its the last lap at bathurst.
