Victorian Motorkhana Championship - Round 7

Went out to check out this round at BP Somerton this morning.

To my surprise, there was a MINI entered.

Hmmm, it had a rear control arm failure. Oddly, the bolts that hold the control arms sheared - all of them??

Did you notice different wheels front to back (16" to 15") - I guess the 15"s are good to burn.

I think it is less rolling resistance... DSAKKO uses them in motorkhana's too.

Rear control arm failure... that is weird!?! Was it quick up until that point?

Hi Chris,

I was planning to come down for the 2 day meet at Winton in September, but this has mysteriously disappeared from the BMWCCV and BMWNSW websites, and I presume it has been cancelled

Thats a real bummer, as I was looking forward to it, and hoping to meet up with some Victorians

It would seem that the NSW club is now intending to come down to Sandown in August, but unfortunately that clashes with the East Coast Targa

Cheers

Robbo

Hey Robbo

Bugger

The NSW Club indicates that the event at Winton has been cancelled.

I'm sure that we'll get a chance to catchup soon.
