I am looking to buy a sub enclosure for my Cooper, but JL Audio will not import a single unit from the USA.

I would like anyone who is interested, in one of these in Australia only (which is why this is in the AUS pages) to either PM me or post a reply.

I am waiting for the costs from JL Audio on quantities of either 25 or 50 units. As soon as I have these, I will post the prices.

This is a lovely sounding, high quality enclosure, and comes with the woofer included.

And it is easily removed if you need your boot space, because it just lifts out.

Come on...you know you want one...!

if it were 2 or so years ago and i hadnt already worked on 2 different boot installs i'd b keen for sure.. but never mind
on a side note i have a friend who's a big JL nut.. its quality gear for sure.. but he had to be the ultimate fanboy and buy all the top notch JL wiring etc which they dont import and sell locally.. he just kicked up a stink and they imported it for him soon enough... so if you really want it and cant get the numbers i'd just push em a little harder.. it wont be cheap for the one.. but meh... the pesemist in me says u wont get alot of interest without people seeing and most importantly hearing it first.. its a ported 10" enclosure and quite small.. i wouldnt b too convinced it would b that effective.. however i have been wrong.. so good luck with it

Sound is rather good, JL makes some of the better subs out there, and the ones they use in the stealthboxes are quite powerful. I believe they are 10" W3 subs, which are enough to shake some fillings

I suggest that if flashing neon, fake suede and glitzy graphics is your thing...go buy a Hyundai Accent and put lots of self adhesive bonnet scoops and things on...maybe even some flames....!!!!

well for an average, sealed, no defined sub, pre-fab sub box u could get one like that made by any car audio installer locally for a fair bit less when u foctor in what it'd cost to ship it etc.. i think the results of that would also be average since prefab boxes never tend to suit any sub u own or intend to buy very well

the only advantage i see of the JL is it has, i would asume an optimum ported enclosure for the sub thats sold with it.. but then again for 500 US.. or 470 pound?? jesus.. and u still have to factor in an amp and cabling and install costs or time to do it yourself.. i'd definitely go get a custom install done by a professional and save yourself the time and money.. oh and it'd look fully sick 2 boot

I still think it looks ugly - regardless of it being in the boot. Why did they decide to put that big ugly looking arch over the top? Looks silly imho. I personally wouldn't get one, but don't let me stop anyone else getting one.

well i guess the port has 2 come out somewhere.. most ported boxes have a black tube hole on them which is alot uglier i think..meh i thought it was pretty nifty that it was some what concealed.. it stands out in the fotos a bit more than i think it would in real life... its that black carpet stuff to is all just blends in and looks like a lump of blackness haha hence the "stealth" name i guess.. few people would pick it as a sub box if they saw it
