I think they're has to be a State of Origin cricket match between NSW and QLD. Maybe we should book an indoor cricket pitch for it? Or maybe the old in the park match???

That would make it pretty difficult Bob, trying to hit one ball with 3 golf sticks at the same time

If anyone has the ability to host a 66 MB video file for downloading, I can show you something of the roads near Byron.

Be prepared to be afraid, be prepared to be very afraid.

Meanwhile, I am narrowing down some of the accommodation. I will be heading back down on the weekend of 16-17 for more reconnaissance.

Meanwhile, flying to Sydney this weekend to meet up with Eltel and Boo at the Motorshow. I will be around there probably from midday to 6pm Saturday. If any of you scoundrels want to catch up, give me a bell on 0402 797954.

Come to think of it - any Pirates that live near Glebe - I wouldn't say no to a MINI lift to the airport on Sunday night

Come to think of it, I may as well bring the video file down on CD.

Gadget,

Thanks for the offer of passage onboard your fine vessel.

Hope to see you at the Motorshow, maybe as well?

Cheers

Ken

We unfortunately can't make 12-13 February for the Byron Bay Run.....BUT......

Trish, Minny and Me are heading upto Byron Bay / Gold Coast Area this christmas for a solo mini-mission to visit the beautiful gold coast area and to checkout some of the local sights.

At this stage our itinerary if far from finalised but it has us in the area from the 23rd - 26th December - and we'll be battening down the ropes on our tent at the Byron Bay Tourist Park and of course it would be great to catch up with any local Mini2ers if your close by.

If there's a chance someone could share with us a good "drive" route from byron taking in as many of the local attrations as possible then that would be greatly appreciated. Of course any other Mini's would be very welcome to join us .... :-)

Al,

Would be great to try and catch up while you are up. If you PM me with your email address, I will send you the runsheet and maps of the route that we have taken from Bris to Byron. All the distances will be in the reverse order, but it will give you a good idea.

Cheers

Ken

Cool will do - i know it's a bit of a way off and is likely to clash with most peoples holidays plans but anyone else fancies meeting up - raise a hand!
