Hey Ashley,

I'll stick with the two year thing to start with but if it has issues (which I am pretty sure the new car won't) I'll buy the extra year.

Maybe Kellie would let me buy a JCW kit towards the end of the two-year warranty which'll give me an extention anyway.

Then again Ken may have written his off by then so there could be a JCW kit at the wreckers.

Hey Guys,

Just started to read this thread but there are 10 pages of it

I know it is 12-13th February.

Can anyone give me a quick summary of:
- Where to book (is everyone staying in same place or just choosing there own places?)
- The group dinner - is that still happening? Is there still room to fit in?
- What time will the Brisbane group be leaving and where from?
- How many hours driving is it?

I still got to see if I can make it but I haven't been on a Mini run in ages and would love go (as well as Christie!)

Hi KEN ,

Do you have any indication of numbers for the dinner? Is the hotel within walking distance from where you stayed last year as i wont be driving !!

At least 25 from Queensland. Haven't had an update from other States yet.

You'll be happy to know that as long as someone points you in the right direction, you only have a block and a half to walk or crawl. If you need to swim, you have gone to far, and will no doubt have swallowed a fair amount of sand already

I'm not a lightweight - my wallet is at the moment

I was going to fly, but I cant really afford that either

3200km++ in 3.5 days is way too many! I want to make a holiday out of it, not a highspeed dash...
(well maybe some highspeed dashes

)

Surely you all understand... and I know there will be a next year!
