Offline | Queensland Raceway Sprint Series 2004 Hi all, Well the year at Queensland Raceway has come to a screaching halt after some tense battles throughout the year. I am happy to say that "MINIs Rule". With first place for Class decided in the final sprint. Black Betty is now the proud owner of the winner's trophy for 2004. Roll on 2005. Only bummer is they have re-scheduled Round 2 to coincide with the Byron Run. Anyway, Merry Christmas to all and hope to see as many of you as possible at Byron for the 12th and 13th of February. Offline | Hi Ken, Congratulations Thanks for whipping everyones backsides, and showing them that the mini is the boss Great result, which I am sure reflects both your great driving skill, and black betty's awesome potential I love the photos Now which is my favourite? the one of you with the black racesuit with your hirsute chest, or the one with black betty on the limit on the corner, almost lifting a wheel ? Sorry if I hurt you feelings Ken, but the photo of Black Betty is a ripper Congrats Robbo Mods: GO MADDIE and SPARKY! |

Offline | I refuse to wax my chest , but I have given in to being told that BB spends too much time on 3 and sometimes 2 wheels . Stuff the warranty, the stock suspension is getting the flick early in the New Year, to be replaced with a nice set of coilovers and other suspension mods. Roll on 2005 ![]() |

Offline | Stu, it was glued on especially for the presentation and the victory parade We were allowed take our "loved ones" out on the track for a sub-100 kph cruise. Since, I didn't have any "loved ones" there, the chest hair was bait Some women just cant refuse a man with a hairy chest (or was it the "cute" MINI), but anyway there were girls clammering to go joy riding in BB With 10 young female tag-alongs it must have worked ![]() I think Mignon was right ![]() |
