Hey the lovely Mrs Tux and I went for a drive to Moss Vale via the back way and then on to Jamberoo then to Saddleback Lookout (which overlooks Kiama) and then home via Kangaroo Valley. The weather was great and the MINI was Super!! We had a fantastic day, ate too much and drank too many cappuccinos.. Perfect!

I'm working on Saturday 'til 11pm and have Sunday off.. Was considering going to Sydney for the ClubMINI outing but still weighing it up...

We will have to do a loop one day!! We could see if that yella fella from the South Coast wants to meet us too...

Since joining MINI2 I have corresponded with a MINI owner in North Carolina by the name of Rick who sent me a great T shirt from the MINI's on the Dragon weekend in May... What a great birthday present. I've had it for a while but took a picture today... You might notice what colour MINI they chose for t

Cool - I have heard of that run, but didnt realize it was in NC... I will be going there next year... a mate of mine is a dru... I mean a pizza man over there. He said come over and cruise with him for a while - if I time it right, I can go to Mini's on the Dragon!

Not by me, best I got this morning was +2°C.

But the crunchy grass was still apparent, although yesterday's was the crunchiest in our neck of the woods.

Who's up for a dyno on their MINI? I'm keen to get one done and have made some initial enquiries at Autotech in Fyshwick. Stumpmeister had his car tested there and the going rate is $55 per run. They need a couple of days notice so I'll see how the ineterst is and go from there. Oh has to be on a week day though, like most of us, they like to keep weekends free.

IMO Dynos can be a waste of time in any case, unless you use the same one for comparative purposes, ie before and after mods etc, so you can at least try and reduce the variables. Which is what I plan to do. Otherwise you could come along to this and get one result, go to another Dyno 30 minutes later and get a different result ... which one do you trust?

We've had a couple of minus threes over the last coupla days but so far it's only shown zero on the MINI readout..

Mrs Tux was saying yesterday that she was watching the display on her way to work and was getting ready to take a picture if it showed a good minus figure.. Bless her heart ..she's into this MINI thing!

I'm working arvo shifts until Saturday and I can tell you it's purdy cold at 11pm these days... Goulburn..Brrr!

I keep going to bed thinking I'll get up nice and early and go for a drive with the camera poised but by the time morning comes around, the thought of getting out of a nice cosy bed to brave the frost just doesn't bear thinking about.

I'm a big baby when it comes to sleeping - I need my 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep per night or I end up turning into a totally dysfunctional mess the next day
