Offline | Jeez, if you think that's bad, you gotta check out Google Earth. I downloaded the interface software last night and then spent the next hour flying around Sydney, checking out jumbos at the terminal of the airport, then along the Bundeena-to-Otford track through the Royal NP, over my home in Albion Park, followed the Shoalhaven River valley and then the Corang River valley to the Budawangs, and finally zipped over to Parliament House in Canberra for a quick inspection. This thing is awesome! It blends the Google Maps with topographic information to give a realistic 3D landscape in streaming real time! Apparently it's even better for the major US cities, where they've also specced out the individual buildings and monuments ... so you can fly around Capital Hill or even the Golden Gate Bridge. I couldn't believe that I even managed to find our BlueScope Steel factory at Map Ta Phut in Thailand! Hmmm, I think I might take a flight through the Grand Canyon next. |

Offline | I popped into Rolfe today, their new showroom over the road. There's no signage as yet and it appears they will be sharing the space with their used sales section as well. The old MINI showroom will be used solely for motorbikes. Good news is we could probably do a detailing demo day in the Rolfe showroom if we can get the required level of interest and if Greg from Eclipse will be interested in comimg down from Sydney. Met a young family in there thinking of buying an MCS, if they buy we should get some commission as we said all the right things when asked. ![]() Interestingly, Andrew, they were told delivery would be in January. ![]() |

Offline | I was actually quite disappointed with -2 I'd been watching the temp hovering around 0 and -1 then it dipped to -1.5 then after about 5 minutes it dipped to -2 and stayed there for about 30 seconds. Within about 2 minutes the temp had increased back up to 5.5 degrees ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |
