Ok....correct me if I'm wrong with my geography....(as I don't have a map with me and this online directory is driving me crazy!)...

1: Meet at the Carillion at 3....(is meeting at the carillion too far away to go down to Tharwa?).....we're looking at a 25 minute cruise down past Tuggeranong, picking up coffees on the way........

2: We go down and check out the Tharwa/Naas road and Apollo Rd, and then back up ontocotter road....

3: pop out at Weston Creek, then go back into town...

Antigos is booked for dinner @ 6:30....

Sorry to hear that Poki,

I must confess that as of April last year my forum visitations would have been less than occaissional. Not to worry, if you are ever sentenced to time in the capital again, get on the forum and give myself and Liam a holler - we'll make sure we can rouse up the others.

Does anyone not think meeting at the Carillion at 3 is ok if we are then making our way to the 'deep south'....?

Would it be better to meet somewhere near Tuggeranong? Or are most of you coming from the Northside? (I'm coming from Fadden...)....

Nah, 3 o'clock will be fine. Everything in Caberra is withing 15 minutes!

I was thinking about this though. I say we leave the Carillon at about 3:20pm or so, and head down Adelaide Ave, over the really cool sweeper/exit that goes to Weston Creek and past Stromlo and on past the Cotter. The rest we can work out from there I reckon.

Alternate meeting point if required, could be the summit of Black Mountain.

But I think the Carillon will be fine.
