Hi Mikey,

I am pretty sure that boost is standard here Only stereo options we get are minidisc/HK/stacker

Cheers,

Yep, we only get Boost here.. only option is if you want HK or not. I don't think you can still get the Minidisc option.

Agree, definitely no Australian delivered Wave headunits.

If MD is still an option, do not tick that box if you are planning an aux connection for your iPOD or the like. The MD headunits did not have the aux port internally activated, only the CD headunits do.

I had some 300 to 400 mini discs - all gone now thanks to the iPOD

BTW Mike, thanks for all the help with the facias, aerial adapters, connectors and the MFSW adapter. They work a treat. The Alpine 9835R with the iPOD adapter, just wouldn't be the same without the professional finish, and you made it so easy. The headunit with the facia looks like a factory fit.

That's 2 MINIs now. Expect some more orders before too long.

Anyone in Oz who is looking to change over the headunit, I would highly recommend Mike's fitting kit. The aerial adapter is a godsend. Without it, you or your installer will have to hack the end off the MINI aerial lead and graft a new one on - not good if you are going to trade your MINI on a new one at some stage and want to refit the original headunit. Pretty much the same for the harness adapters - plug and play and easily reversible.

Thanks again Mike.
