A small, but beautifully put together contigent of Perth MINIs assembled today to greet GOGADGET and take a quick drive to the land of Moondyne Joe.

Perth put on a typical warm summers day with clear skies but not so clear roads. Thanks to Jason, Patrick, Claire, Saffron, Nikola, Andreas and Jason's mate whose name I can't spell and of course to the guest of honour GOGADGET.

Ohhhhhhhhh yesssssss....... even a cold Corona didin't hit the spot.

My Cooper has about 30Kw going to the wheels and the rest going to the aircon...

I think I did 300km in third gear at around 6000rpm.

Who need a SWorks...???

You are correct, Patrick changed his stripes, he also changed Jason's for some very good looking stripes featuring the JCW badge. Unfortunately I have no photo of those

I have new ones every week...it was GT2 last week...

I'm considering a sunflower yellow roof and yellow vipers at the moment...looks good on BRG.

Thanks everyone for turning out on such a hot day. It was great once again putting faces to name. I really enjoyed myself driving on those roads, the last time I did those roads was while I was cycle racing in the early ninetys, thank god it wasn't that hot then.
