I ran across the road to a service station that has now been turned into a mechanics...I asked if I could park under their cover and the young guy there was reluctant, but said ok...when I pulled up he's like "Wow...now wonder you wanted to get it covered - nice car!"
Last year I'd had my dunnydore for 2 weeks and it got pummeled....I wasn't a happy camper....
We had no power when I got home....lots of fallen trees everywhere (nearly all of them gums - are they 'weak' or something?)....saw a couple of cars under trees.....a massive tree fell on some powerlines near my place - hence no power until about 10:30...
Alison was at work when the hail hit, so while it was hailing she had to drive about 500m to the nearest undercover parking, in that time the car took a few hits, but I have not hd the chance to take a look at it yet, so I cannot guage how bad it is.
Our other car, was practically totaled. It has hail damage like the surface of a glf ball.
Best case is that it gets repaired....worse case the car could be written off........
this is so excellent. I luv a good consiracy theory.
sorry to hear about your woes Josh & Ali. hopefully its nothing that a paintless dent remover can't handle easily. A guy at work here had something like 15 dents removed for a few hunderd bucks.
I've got a small ding on my bonnet put there last week by sumjerk rammedmicar (indian cricketer) its about tennis ball size and its gunna cost $900 to respray the whole bonnet and replace the stripes. guess what my excess is?
I love Warsaw. Where else can you hug a pole?

Iw asnt worried abot hail last night - I was more worried about washing away intoa deep ditch and never being found! We had the highest rainfall on record ever last night!!
And I had no windscreen wipers!! Must be a lucas throwback!

Commin in a bit late here. Sorry to hear that news Josh. I was in Gosford too.
My work van also got dented. I'm actually happy cause now I don't have to wash that barge. It's been 2 years and I think the dirt saved it from worse damage. A respray might be just the thing to get it through another 2 years without a wash before its traded. It aint worth the water or time to wash.
Drove home after the hail, when it was still intense. I pulled over a couple of times because I forgot exactly where the road was, and I had no hope of seeing it.
For pictures just use a frosted camera lense and unfocus it. Then spray it with water sideways and youll get what I saw.
