Offline | 2005 Grand Prix Rally - MINI entries MINI Australia are offering the first 6 MINI Cooper S owners who enter the Grand Prix Rally an opportunity to receive an exciting package. The package includes on road technical support, welcome dinner and Melbourne Motor Show tickets to the first 6 MINI Cooper S owners who meet the selection criteria (don't know what the criteria is). Entries close Friday February 18th 2005 at 5pm and need to be lodged on the 'Official Entry Form' which can be downloaded on the website www.grandprix.com.au or obtained from Octagon in Melbourne (03 9685 3500 - Chris Bell or Jackie Parry). I have not seen an entry list yet to know how many MINIs are signed up for the event at this stage. It's a great event if you want to see if motorsport competition is for you. You do not need to have a roll cage in the car, just helmets and fire extinguishers. If you don't have a navigator Octagon have a list of navigators looking for a ride. CooperRoo Have fun, make money, go motor racing and be respected... not necessarily in that order. |

Offline | Rally entry Yeah - I'm there but in an M3 SMG this year. We usual run the three cars but this year only two M3's. Dutton rally should see us in MINIs again but there is also rumor of 190kw One Series being available then and that car would be a belter for that type of event. Either way I'm still all MINI in my heart. CooperRoo Have fun, make money, go motor racing and be respected... not necessarily in that order. |

| Remember | Aside from passing a roadworthy check, vehicles will only need a CAMS-approved fire extinguisher, first aid kit, and helmets for the driver and navigator. No roll cages or driving suits are required. sounds like a great event ![]() http://cars.grandprix.com.au/event_info/gp_rally The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
