Offline | Evan its very easy to get at from the drivers side inner guard but apparently you need a special BMW tool to pull it off... I'm sure it would be possible to work something out though without the BMW tool, but I havnt looked into it.. What size under drive did you go for? Pete, should be there tomorrow then. John. |

| Twincharge??? | Got a 3% overdrive which bumps it up to 18% underdrive. More than a 17% but still less than 19%. Hell, 18% sounds kewl If that's the case I might rather get someone else to do the install as installing the diverter already causing a fat headache for me.Pete, before I install the diverter I was thinking, feck me Pete the n00b takes 2 hours to do it I should do better. Nope. That king shat mentality screwed me up (refer to PM) |

Offline | A tiny little moth of some sort managed to find its way inside my tachometer housing! It's kinda funny cos the needle often taps it, but how do I get it out ![]() |

Offline | BWAHAHAHA... sorry.. but thats just hilarious!!! Pull the top of the dash off, pull the front facia of the tacho area out, and then pull the tacho off. Should be easy enough to pull apart, just don't leave any dust in there as it'll annoy you forever. Or take it to your local dealer (warranty?) |

Offline | hahaha thats kinda cool... you got your own little attrium in your cabin. Maybe it crawled in there as a little larvae grub back in production then hatched into a moth Do you rev the hell out of your car just to see if you can swat it? ![]() |

| Twincharge??? | Pete and John: I managed to slap it on without denting the diverter!!!!!!!! I must be a real hero LOL. Gotta admit it, king shat (read: me) didnt read the instruction manual and got the whole thing horribly wrong. In fact I didnt even remove the stock snorkel/diverter thingy on the bonnet. No wonder it didnt close properly ![]() Seriously, the coupler is the biggest headache as everything else is quite simple. You gotta be good with your hands playing with that...I even managed to cut myself a couple of times while slipping the smaller one on. |
