Is it a rattle when you go over rough roads or when you are at certain revs? The ALTA makes a light sucking noise that is very high pitch, then the very loud sucking noise...

Maybe....

Rough roads mate..

The alta makes alot of noise.....but not a noise like this one...

There's one specific road that I go on to work, that manges to make my car generate a symphony of squeeks, rattles and noises...

I think my front left HK Tweeter is distorting as well.....stupid MP3's...!!

What's new ?

worry...thats whats new
having just read the MCSC specific forum, and seeing all the annoying things that vert's are having to go back for (scratched windows, roof wear etc).. I must admit that as soon as I receive it, I'll be looking for these things all the time !
I was 100% confident in the quality . Now, I'm starting to freak out about the distance that large replacement parts ( i.e. new roof mechanisms) have to travel.
Paranoidally yours
Darrell

Oh don't worry, if you need parts you'll get them really quickly! Honest. I promise. Pretty please.*

Whatever happens, you'll love the car so much you'll deal with any issues with ease I reckon.

* I had to wait 7 weeks for my MCS to be repaired after the "roo incident", probably 5 weeks of that was waiting for a wiring loom to come from Germany.

in my experience it's not often that parts have to come from Germany... they have good stock in Melbourne

Don't worry too much Darrell, I think we all go through the quality worry phase just before our cars arrive. It's not nearly as bad as it all sounds.

Liam (and a couple of other Canberrans) problems aside, I've had to order a few parts that have had to come from Germany and the dealer has managed to get them to me in less than 2 weeks. Of course these were bling bling parts so 2 weeks was ok, 2 weeks + wouldn't be too good if it was a critical engine component or suspension part you were waiting for

Ive done heaps of parts buying , but have had a few encounters with having to wait for a German export (Gauge panel, rear panel clips, rear airbag covers) but general parts are in Melb, like Timmeh said

Noice Tom. The matt black looks really good in real life - especially with EB.

Very nice Tom, i love the contrast of the black on blue.

All my life, I have searched for a car that feels a certain way.
Powerful like a gorilla, yet soft and yielding like a Nerf ball. Now, at last, I have found it

Excellent! So close... I saw a heap of BMWs on a truck on the way home tonight... they were under a 'condom-like' cover. No MINI's
