| Boy who made the wolf cry | Is it a rattle when you go over rough roads or when you are at certain revs? The ALTA makes a light sucking noise that is very high pitch, then the very loud sucking noise... Maybe.... PROJECT POLARIS - Die Wiedergeburt eines kultautos |

| MINI2 Master | What's new ? worry...thats whats new having just read the MCSC specific forum, and seeing all the annoying things that vert's are having to go back for (scratched windows, roof wear etc).. I must admit that as soon as I receive it, I'll be looking for these things all the time ! I was 100% confident in the quality . Now, I'm starting to freak out about the distance that large replacement parts ( i.e. new roof mechanisms) have to travel. Paranoidally yours Darrell ![]() |

Offline | Oh don't worry, if you need parts you'll get them really quickly! Honest. I promise. Pretty please.* ![]() ![]() Whatever happens, you'll love the car so much you'll deal with any issues with ease I reckon. * I had to wait 7 weeks for my MCS to be repaired after the "roo incident", probably 5 weeks of that was waiting for a wiring loom to come from Germany. ![]() |

Offline | Don't worry too much Darrell, I think we all go through the quality worry phase just before our cars arrive. It's not nearly as bad as it all sounds. Liam (and a couple of other Canberrans) problems aside, I've had to order a few parts that have had to come from Germany and the dealer has managed to get them to me in less than 2 weeks. Of course these were bling bling parts so 2 weeks was ok, 2 weeks + wouldn't be too good if it was a critical engine component or suspension part you were waiting for ![]() Jan 06 MCS Checkmate |

Offline | Ive done heaps of parts buying , but have had a few encounters with having to wait for a German export (Gauge panel, rear panel clips, rear airbag covers) but general parts are in Melb, like Timmeh said ........ |
