| Whatev. | Nice Alan ![]() Jason - you might want to look into vinyl dye. We have successfully dyed a heap of beige plastic computer stuff black - dunno about going from black to white or where you might get electric blue vinyl dye from but where there is a will there is a way ![]() ![]() |

Offline | My dealer charged me $99.75, so it's not the cheapest bit of plastic. I didn't even think of buying the light separately, until I saw MickyD's at Eden last year. So, yes, should be no drama to buy just the single high level rear light. Although when I ordered mine on Wednesday the guy at Rolfe Classic told me there was only two left in Australia; a) dunno if that's BS but have no reason not to believe him, b) dunno how long it would take to get from overseas. It took me, a complete gumby, about 10mins to do. You'll need a torx driver thingy to remove the three screws from the underside of the hatch. It can be a bit tricky to pry the light out once you have removed the screws, just use a plastic knife or something I guess (I used a screwdriver, but don't try that at home kiddies!). Removing the electrical wire from the OEM rig requires a bit of brute force, and the damn spoiler gets in the way, but as I said it took 10mins, so its not too bad. In fact it has probably taken me longer to write this post and upload the pics! ![]() |
