Nice... that is your third set yes??

I am still on my first set and I think they might not have worn at all.

RE050A are meant to be awesome according to tire rack. I thought you were going with the budget option

I think the term budget needs to be taken in context.

I'll be interested to see how the RE050A fair on a mini. Not too happy with the Eagles, as due to my brilliant luck, they are now manufactured in Thailand, and not Germany anymore, and by all accounts (and Lima's account) aren't as good as they were when made in Germany.

They have been made in Thailand for a while now Mine on the previous Mini were made in Thailand and were OK, got a bit sloppy when they were nearing the wear limits but were otherwise OK

Mine are really noisy, and the grippy is ordinary. I just always get the sense that the car is being let down by the tires....especially since i got the swaybar. The car turns in and during the time when it would have normally tramlined, the front tires suddenly get their grip and turns in even better, but the tires feel like they're on water. I've got them on 42psi now. Tried 36, 38, 40 as well, but 42 is the best. Just looks like i have to put up with them until i try some others. Maybe i'll get the PP2s next, that's if they make them in 215/40/17. i like that size

Just pt hyprblu in for some more mods today.

Getting:

OBX header
GTT divert pipe
Hi Flo sports cat
JCW brakes
re-inforced brake lines
Fire extinguisher.

The last item does not necessarily mean I am expecting problems with the mods.....

Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow.....
