Offline | Basically this is the "one ball" mod but with a provided stainless steel pipe rather than a welded in pipe. Here is a link www.gtt.uk.com/home.asp They do a few interesting things....recently got an oil catch can from them.... |

Offline | Yep I know about the cash as well...but the OBX header seems to be a good buy at $360 including freight. Got the JCW in as new condition....so not quite as bad as it sounds.......hope wife isn't reading this!!!! |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | nice stuff richard. I'm also probably going to end up with the OBX and oneball setup (i already have the oneball, just need the OBX now). Where did you pick up the OBX for 360 + freight, if you don't mind me asking? Good stuff on the brake lines and JCW BK. I'd really love to hear your car, inside and out once you get the OBX header and oneball done, cos you've got pretty much the same mods as me ( i don't have the JCW injectors though), before i put my name down for the OBX. If you don't mind, that is... Black MCS |

Offline | Hi Mate, No problem....car is still in maybe till tomorrow...happy for you to hear it when complete. Just seen it up on the ramp at peter's place....the brakes and lines are on and look good but a bit hidden behind the current wheels......got a set of lightweights for the track at home but sytill need tyres....header is on...just waiting for the welder to put flanges on the sports cat so they can fit that and themn the divert pipe....which looks a very well made piece of kit. The OBX was $360 including freight from the USA. Got it fron the same guy as Kev.....will PM the e-mail address to you. Richard. |

Offline | Yep sure will. The deal is that I can take it on the track as long as I drive sensibly on the road and don't go getting speeding tickets.....I recon I can live with that.. P.S. after 35years she may be a bit used to me by now.......... |

| 8/10 on the Stoogometer | do you reckon it'll be all finished by this sunday? (That is, if you're coming to the club run )I've heard from quite a few people that the stock MCS cat is pretty good, so i'm just gonna use that. Need to find someone that can weld it though ![]() Black MCS |

Offline | Will be finished by club run cause it is next Sunday not this Sunday....and yes we should be there. Car may even be ready tonight Decided to leave my stock cat on the existing header in case i want to put it back sometime.......also may be handy as a spare as I couldn't get the steel cat that I wanted but got a ceramic instead. Peter knows a welder as does I think Kev. Richard. |

Offline | Get yourself over to the NSW Track and Motorsports thread and put your name down for the Wakefield Park track day - best 'internal' mod you can do on your car - and not horrendously expensive ![]() |

Offline | Being in Melbourne looking to Phillip Island ar Winton. Done Phillip Island on the mini lvl 2 driver training and that was fun in a standard MCS....can't wait to get mine on there with the mods....and I agree that the thing that can provide the best improvement will be getting my driving experience on tracks up to scratch... |

Offline | Was just trying to stir MiniFr34k into getting himself on the list for a track day we are having up here on the 15th September ![]() ![]() I have heard that Phillip Island is a fantastic track ![]() You could even try a BDD - just ask Kev Baker - he loved it, but his car did break but that doesn't usually happen, believe me. |
